supplier monitoring
Supplier monitoring: know before your planning does
You would rather not find out that a supplier has stopped when the delivery fails to arrive. KVKBase follows the public data of your suppliers and reports a bankruptcy, suspension of payments, deregistration or other change.
What you want to know about a supplier
In procurement it comes down to continuity and correct data. A supplier that enters suspension of payments will deliver differently or stop. A supplier with an invalid VAT number means a problem with your VAT return.
- Bankruptcy or suspension of payments, when the source reports it
- Deregistration or dissolution of the business
- A VAT number that no longer comes back as valid at VIES, when a number is known
- A new address or a different name, so your master data stays right
- A different legal form, for example from sole proprietorship to BV
Manage suppliers without extra work
Put the suppliers that matter on the list: the critical ones, not all hundred. Use bulk add to load an existing supplier file in one go. Alerts can arrive as a daily digest, so procurement gets one overview each morning.
A webhook can update your master data or open a task in your purchasing system. To prevent mistakes when you create a supplier there is also a VAT check via VIES, and for an existing file the batch lookup.
Honest about the limits
An alert is a reason to look, not an established fact. The source sometimes lags, and for sole traders or foreign suppliers there is less to follow. For a supplier that much depends on, your own assessment is still needed.
What we watch
Each watched company is compared with its previous state once a day. These are the fields that can trigger an alert:
- Name
- Statutory name and trade name
- Address
- Street, postcode and city
- Legal form
- For example from sole proprietorship to BV
- Status
- Active or dissolved
- Insolvency
- Bankruptcy or suspension of payments, as the source reports it
- SBI codes
- The registered activities
- Directors
- Only when the source provides them for that company
- VAT number
- Valid or invalid at VIES, when a VAT number is known
How alerts reach you
- One email per change, straight away. Or switch to a daily digest, grouped per company.
- Signed webhook
- Each change as JSON over HTTPS, with a timestamp and an HMAC-SHA256 signature you can verify.
- API
- Read your watchlist and the alert history with your API key, and export it as CSV from the dashboard.
Checks run daily, not in real time. The first check of a company is a baseline and sends no alert.
Who it is for
- Procurement and supply chain teams with critical suppliers
- Compliance and risk teams that must keep supplier data current
- Finance teams that maintain supplier data in the ERP
Included in the paid plans
Monitoring comes with your plan as watch slots. A check never costs lookup tokens.
- Free
- No monitoring
- Starter
- 10 companies
- Pro
- 100 companies
- Business
- 1,000 companies
If your plan drops, watches over the new limit are paused, not deleted.
